Picture this; it's March 27 1997 and a little star named Lisa is born in Buriram, Thailand. Her birth name is Pranpriya Manoban. Later changed to Lalisa Manoban – a name that would soon become renowned worldwide. 

After her family relocated from the province of Buriram to bustling Bangkok Lisa grew up in the city. Her elementary school teacher, Ratchadaporn Ruengrit, who has known Lisa since she was young fondly recalls her determination and responsibility as a child. With Ratchadaporns encouragement Lisa set her sights on pursuing her dreams.

Imagine being 13 years old. Auditioning for YG Entertainment in Thailand. Well that's what Lisa did. She emerged as one of the two chosen ones out of, over 4,000 hopefuls! Talk about making a statement!
She made a decision. Traveled to South Korea, where she began her training, with YG Entertainment.
